Greenwich Land Securities acquired an unregulated development site of ca. 13 million sqm in Los Altos de los Monteros, Marbella in 1997. The investment and development has been undertaken through the wholly owned subsidiary Los Altos de los Monteros SA.

The infrastructure investments were finalized around 2003 and around 50% of the land has been sold as development projects. Altos de los Monteros are now building contemporary luxury villas in the area, and are planning a large residential project of ca 25,000 sqm.
